The grant is available to Micro-Businesses employing less than 10 people, with retail premises and which derive the majority of their turnover from retail customers.

Businesses can access up to £5,000 to support 80% of eligible costs towards e-commerce related services. This could be for a new e-commerce website or to develop your existing e-commerce business online.

The Micro-business E-commerce Grant is open for application to all small or medium sized retailers or wholesalers looking to grow their business online. The scheme is currently operating on a first come first served basis.

COVID-19 MICRO-BUSINESS E-COMMERCE GRANT

Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI) has launched a new £3 million fund to help retail micro businesses in Northern Ireland looking to grow their business online. The COVID-19 micro business e-commerce grant is open to any micro-sized retailer that wants to prepare for growth, develop their customer base and find new markets by enhancing their digital offering, building e-commerce capability and increasing online sales.

The grant is being managed by Invest NI and is now open for applications until 6pm on Friday 12 March 2021 or before if budget runs out.
